Projects & Photos
It's been a very busy time and I have gotten into a very bad habit with my knitting, I'm so eager to start a project so I never post it or take photos of it when its done. I must start anew! Last week I started my first entrelac yikes I can't seem to wrap my brain around the pattern I'm making it harder than it really is I think. I can't seem to keep my tiers straight.
I've also started again on my Barn Raising Squares I'm using a very lovely Berroco sock yarn, Vivica my sample cable scarf is coming along quite nicely I've just started pattern number five but I'm sorta cabled out but I'll keep it going. I forgot my knitting today so I'm blogging instead.
Until next time............keep on knitting.

Box Bag Bandwagon
I'm linked to:

I have had a really productive day!! I made my first box bag this can become very addicting if I don't watch. I did find very helpful information here, here and here. However, in my opinion the instructions for sewing the handles way too confusing I have an easier way of doing it so one day I'll get around to posting the info but just as a teaser it really helps if you iron the handles into the triangle shape it makes the sewing so much easier. It probably doesn't make much since until I actually post a photo. I also baked a Sour Cream Coffee Cake today OMG!!

Socks for Vicky
I'm going to make another attempt to make a pair of socks. Last year I tried knitting the Broad Ripple pattern and I ran into a few problems with the sock, I should have frogged it early on but no that would make too much sense, so I kept plugging away at it and when I was almost finished with the first one I tried it on and it looked hideous! I am now going to try the Campfire sock pattern and its going well. I have a much better feeling about this pattern. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Dinner with Friends
Last night I had two of my girlfriends over for dinner Leslie and Maria. I had a wonderful time and I made an amazing dinner for us. Let me tell you all about it. Crabcakes, wilted spinach served over orzo pasta, brown sugar carrots, chicken pomadoro and for dessert lemon layer cake. Doesn't it all make your mouth water? I think my most favorite was the spinach or I don't know perhaps it was the carrots.

Sunday Market Shawl

I love Noro yarn the colors are so vibrant. This pattern is super easy I can't wait to drop the stitches. I found this pattern on my favorite website Ravelry.

November is just around the Corner!
Where is the time going? I hope all is well with everyone. Believe it or not I'm just working on one project my lacey shawl which I found the pattern on Ravelry. It's quite simple but I've had a few hangups with it, yarn overs aren't my favorite. I want to start another scarf hopefully by Monday I purchased a beautiful cranberry red mohair yarn, its will be beautiful.
I enjoy reading knitting blogs and I'm so inspired by so many of you. The knitting world is AMAZING I really want to improve my craft. I'm such a slow knitter. A few months ago I started a pair of socks and its been a complete nightmare! I tried on the first one and I should of went up a size or two with the pattern. I will have to frog it...whats the point of continuing if the socks are too small right?
